For many years, Irene Rizkalla's name has been seen on real estate signs all up and down the midcoast area. She served as a broker associate for ERA Cousens Realty for the 17 years and throughout those years had a wonderful relationship with them: "They have helped to educate me in the real estate business and given me a lot of support," Rizkalla says.

"I have wanted to go out on my own for a few years before my retirement. What a better time to do this than 2003, when the town of St. George has been celebrating its Bicentennial," says Rizkalla. "Therefore, I have recently started St. George Realty, on Route 131 in Tenants Harbor.

Irene and her husband George, a master barber, raised six children on the peninsula, and their five beautiful grandchildren visit them often at their home in Tenants Harbor.

Irene goes on to say, "My family has deep roots in this area. They originally came here in the late 1700s, and Gardner and Vickery family members fought in the Revolutionary War. The house I've lived in for the past 32 years has been in our family for generations. I have a genuine love of old houses, and have been trained in historic real estate through the National Trust for Historic Preservation."
